The race is run by the RORC and the Antigua Yacht Club and starts on the 22nd February 2009 off Fort Charlotte outside English Harbour, Antigua.

|
The course takes the fleet to the north passing a mark off Barbuda, the islands of Nevis, Saba and St Barths, to circle St Martin before heading down to Guadeloupe as the most southerly point, then back up to a mark off Barbuda before returning to finish in Antigua. A total of 605 nautical miles.
It is believed that this new race will become one of the worldwide classic offshore races, joining the Rolex Fastnet Race, the Sydney-Hobart and the Newport-Bermuda race as one of the ‘must-do’ races on the offshore circuit. Grab this unique opportunity to race the first edition of this great race and become part of Star Chaser’s race crew!

Your Racing Program
You will be joining the boat on Thursday February 18 in Antigua. We will have 2 training days so you can work as a team on the boat, get to know the boat and practice racing manoeuvres. Depending on the level of experience and everybody's talents we will determine race positions and sail combinations. We will then have 1 day to relax and make the last preparations for the race. The race will start on the 22nd of February and could take between 3-5 days depending on the weather.
