Antigua Sailing Week
21st Apr - 30th Apr 2010
Party at Shirley Heights
Party at Shirley Heights

Antigua Sailing Week is the most famous event on the Caribbean racing calendar. One of the premier sailing regattas in the world, the Stanford Antigua Sailing Week welcomes participants from all corners of the globe each year, competing to win this prestigious race. Five challenging days of racing in some of the best sailing conditions in the world combined with the famous Antiguan hospitality and partying in the evenings and on lay day make this a regatta not to miss!

Racing here can be very exciting as the weather conditions at this time of year often serve up strong trade winds which can reach up to 35 knots with large Atlantic swells that make for some great downwind rides and some challenging up wind legs!

Our Sailing Week package includes :-

  • Accommodation on board the boat from April 24th until May 3rd if required.
  • Use of all safety equipment on board.
  • All race entry fees, mooring fees and fuel.
  • 1 to 2 days training from our expert skipper and crew.

Here's some feedback from previous weeks !

“Just wanted to tell you guys that I had an unforgettable and great time on board Star Chaser, it really was fantastic! On top of all the fun I learned loads which will help a lot this summer. I can't wait to get back on Star Chaser and race with you again Boogie!”
Graham, UK - Antigua Sailing Week 2008

“Had an awesome trip!”
Richard, USA - Antigua Sailing Week 2008

“Definitely a great week - I had a blast and am looking forward to my next one.”
Giles, USA - Antigua Sailing Week 2008

“[I told them] what a fantastic time I had and what a great skipper I thought you were, even though we didn't get to do any cheesy dancing in Life bar! ..what I really liked about the way you ran things was striking that balance between having fun, learning, and the more serious bits......it's not an easy thing to get right but I think you did a brilliant job. You've got a great relaxed style, calm and approachable, and happy to give people the space to do their own thing.
Thanks for posting the pics on the site, just looking through them made me smile, laugh, groan, giggle and remember a fantastic week with a great group of people!”

Gwen, UK - Antigua Sailing Week 2008
