Now In Training

We have had our first training weekend for the Rolex Fastnet Campaign and are preparing for the Morgan Cup, one of the qualifying races for the Rolex Fastnet. We have a great crew together and are looking forward to getting out there, have some great racing and doing well!

Back In The UK!

Star Chaser is now back in the UK after a great transatlantic trip (see our Ship’s Blog to read about the adventure !), Star Chaser is now getting ready for her Rolex Fastnet Campaign, UK Racing, some cruises and corporate sailing.

20.02.09 STAR CHASER ABOUT TO SET OFF ON RORC CARIBBEAN 600 RACE!

Star Chaser is Antigua and her first crew for the inaugural RORC Caribbean 600 Race have arrived and are settling in, getting to know the boat.

We’re putting the final touches to the boat before starting this new exciting race on Monday and exciting it will be! There are some good winds forecasted with a considerable sea (3-4m), so we’re happy to be on a good and fast Swan!

Today is our first of 2 training days to get our crew up to speed with the boat and make sure everybody knows what they are doing. Sunday will be a bit of relaxing and getting last things done to be race-ready for Monday morning. Star Chaser and her crew can’t wait to get started in this first edition of what is sure to become a must-do race on the offshore racing calendar.

‘Amazing day!’

This is just one of the things our corporate crew told us after an exciting day sailing on the Solent.

We welcomed a mostly novice crew in the morning in Ocean Village for a day's sailing in what can be called rather bumpy conditions.

The annual JPMorgan Asset Management Round the Island Race, organised by the Island Sailing Club, is one of the most popular fixtures on the Solent racing calendar. We’ve Left Again!
This time the Azores - Today Sunday 1st June - Star Chaser left Horta in the Azores for the last leg of her great ocean trip to from the Carribean to the UK. Read all about it so far in our Ships Blog which is frequently updated with our progress.

We’ve Left !
Star Chaser left St Maarten last Saturday for her great ocean trip to the Azores and then up to the UK. We have a great crew on board: Piotr, an old sailing mate from Boogie from Poland; Camille, who is coming back to us after the having done the Arc with us last year; Ewoud, a young Dutch guy on his first Transatlantic; Daan, another Cloggy and our 2nd mate and Boogie and Marlies.
